Welcome to Club 216 online! Located in historic Charlottesville, we're West Central Virginia's biggest and best Gay and Lesbian club, offering the Gay community an exciting nightlife alternative. With over 7,000 square feet for dancing and partying, Club 216 is the place for a mixed crowd of gays, lesbians and gay-friendly straights. Being the only Gay bar for nearly 70 miles, everybody loves to mix it up at Club 216.

Located in the quaint, renovated downtown district, Club 216 is situated near the beautiful University of Virginia, just miles away from Monticello, the home of Thomas Jefferson, and the picturesque Shenandoah Valley. Antiquing is a favorite activity of visitors to our area, as well as tubing down the tranquil James River. You'll also find many fine wineries within minutes of downtown offering tours and many tasty samples. Charlottesville also has some fabulous dining options as we have one of the highest number of restaurants per capita in the country. So when you're not partying with us at night, there's plenty to do during the day.
